What is the TD Summer Reading Club?

Venture into magical realms and be enchanted by fairly tales, myths, and legends when you join the coolest summer club in all of Canada. The TD Summer Reading Club is a Canada-wide reading program for kids aged 0-18. When you join the club you will receive a reading logbook and stickers to track your summer reading progress. Throughout the summer the Library will host various programs and events related this year’s theme of fairy tales, myths, and legends.

When Does it Start?

This year the TD Summer Reading Club will launch Monday, June 13, 2022.

Fun Incentives this Year

Story Walk at the Waterfront (a story book posted at the waterfront so you can read as you walk along the boardwalk).

Special donut courtesy of McGuire’s Donuts in Pembroke (you will get a discount coupon for this donut when you register for the club).

Special programs throughout the summer (check out our website calendar for upcoming TD events!).

How Do I Register?

Visit the Children’s and Teens Department at Pembroke Public Library to join the club and gather your logbook, stickers, and donut coupon.

What Books Do I Track?

Whether it’s picture books, e-books, junior fiction, or read-aloud, every format counts. Read to yourself, read to someone else or have someone read to you!
