Fraud & Scam Prevention

The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is partnering with the Pembroke Public Library to host a fraud and scam awareness presentation.

The OPP says the presentation will cover mass marketing fraud, romance and emergency scams, and other prevalent scams – and how to avoid them.

Those who attend will also have the opportunity to take part in a question-and-answer period.

The presentation will take place from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on March 25th in the library at 237 Victoria Street in Pembroke.

Book Club

Book Club members will meet today to discuss the recent book. We explore new authors and we each read a book written by that particular author. If anyone is interested in joining, please call 613-732-8844.
