This year’s multicultural Festival will be bigger and better than ever before! We will be hosting the all-day event at the Pembroke Waterfront Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Opening Ceremonies

10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Join us as we commence the 2022 Multicultural Festival with an indigenous smudging ceremony, welcome song, and land acknowledgement.

Food Truck & Vendor Show

11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Come by the waterfront park grounds to taste some of the best culinary treasures from our local restaurants and food trucks. Then, while you’re here, take a walk and browse through the vendor show to shop local and support small businesses in our community.

Children & Family Activities

11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Come and play with inflatable games and activities! Play a game of cricket, learn at the kite making and flying workshop, and get a henna tattoo.

Seniors’ Workshop

11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Get up and get moving with Susan Richards at the seniors’ Caribbean Dance Workshop.

Music, Dance, & Magic Show

12:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Sit back and enjoy live music and performances including the Zephyr Woodwind Quartet, Canadian Folk Presentation by Louis Mercer, Bollywood Dance Workshop with Bhawna, Indian Classical Music by Usha and Subash, and a family Magic Show by Canadian Champion of Magic Nathaniel Rankin.

Family Workshops

3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Find your rhythm and move to the beat during the African Drumming Workshop with Wise Atangana and the Break Dance Workshop with MOOV Dance School.

Evening Performances

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Come and watch the biggest show of the summer with features including: Accordion Music, African Drumming, Belly Dancing, Break Dancing, Bollywood Dancing, a variety of Chinese Music and Dancing, Columbian Dancing, Indigenous Drumming, Mongolian Dancing, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Sword Dancing, Tibetan Dancing, and Ukrainian Dancing.
