CreativeBug

Availability

CreativeBug is available for Library members via web browser and on mobile devices from the App/Play stores.

Description

CreativeBug is a video tutorial site with a collection of award-winning video classes created by top designers and artists. Subjects range in audience and difficulty from needlewoork and painting techniques to STEAM projects for kids.

Create An Account

  1. Click the following link for CreativeBug.
  2. Enter your library information to create an account. Where it asks for your library card, enter your full barcode (no spaces) and for your PIN, enter your last name (lowercase letters).
  3. Next, to create an account you must enter your first name, last name, email address, and create a password.

Sign In (Via Web Browser)

  2. Select the sign in option.
  3. Enter your email address and the password you created when you made the account (not your last name).
  4. Click sign in.

Early Learning is available for library members through the library website.

Description

Early Learning is a leading online resource for preschoolers and children in the early primary grades. With narrated stories, interactive games and original videos to teach critical early childhood themes.

Hoopla

Availability

Hoopla is available for Library members via web browser and on mobile devices from the App/Play stores.

Description

Hoopla is a streaming platform for ebooks, eaudiobooks, comics, music, movies and TV shows. Library members are limited to a maximum of 5 checkouts per month. Further restrictions may be applied in times of high usage based on the shared collection allowance.

Create An Account

  2. Click sign up.
  3. Enter your email and create a password for your Hoopla account.
  4. Choose your library using the search bar. Be sure to choose Pembroke Public Library (ON).
  5. Select your preferences and proceed with the account set-up.

Libby, by OverDrive

Availability

Libby is available for Library members via web browser and on mobile devices from the App/Play stores.

Description

Libby is a user-friendly collection of ebooks and eaudiobooks that can be downloaded and read offline. Users can borrow up to 10 titles at one time and can place holds on up to 10 titles as well. If you need assistance you can contact OverDrive directly using the web form, or use the “Get some help” option in Libby.

Create An Account

  1. Download the Libby app or click the following link for Libby, by OverDrive and select libbyapp.com.
  2. Libby will ask if you have a library card and will prompt you to search for your library.
  3. Select Pembroke Public Library (part of the Ontario Library Consortium) located at 237 Victoria Street.
  4. Libby will ask you to verify where you use your library card. Click Pembroke Public Library.
  5. Enter your library information to create an account. When it asks for your username, enter your full barcode (no spaces) and for your PIN, enter your last name (lowercase letters).

Little PIM is a modified version of Mango Languages, designed for children ages 0-5, where Pim the panda bear is the instructor.
