Drop in every Tuesday evening in May, from 6pm - 7:30 p.m. to do some relaxing adult colouring activities with Donna Landon! Daycares are encouraged to attend this special Storytime, catered especially for daycare kids! Kids can enjoy a variety of movement songs, singing and picture books. Crafts will be distributed after, as well.
If you're a newcomer or immigrant who would like to improve your English speaking skills, you are welcome to join our FREE weekly English Conversation Group. This group is led by dedicated volunteers with experience in teaching. Join us!
This special program is ideal for babies and toddlers! Join us for a half hour of rhymes, singing, lap bounces, and board books at the Children’s Department. Through story time interactions, your baby will develop abilities — including language and social skills. Besides that, it fosters a close emotional relationship between you and your baby.
Engage all of your child’s senses that can help them learn and grow by allowing them to participate in Sensory Play! Sensory Play focuses on activities that engage your child’s senses, helping them develop language skills and motor skills. It also helps with cognitive growth, fosters social interactions and encourages experimentation.
One on one IT assistance at the Library! Book a Tech Time and bring your laptop, tablet, or mobile device for in-person technology assistance. Tech Time appointments are available Fridays from 2-4pm. Appointments are 30 minutes in duration and must be scheduled in advance.
Families that sing and read together, stay together! This storytime is for parents and their kids who aren’t able to attend the weekday storytime sessions. We usually have special guests and themes for the Saturday storytime sessions. All are welcome!
